Boxford Model C lathe 4.5" x 24" backgeared and screwcutting with 12 spindle speeds from a 1-phase motor with a Dewhurst reversing switch and emergency stop button. This was the long-time property of a retired RAF engineer and has been maintained in superb order with many small and useful modifications. It's offered complete with a mass of associated tooling and other workshop items that make work on the lathe a pleasure to use. Items include a milling slide, bed-mounted micrometer carriage stop, thread-dial indicator, a graduated handle to the leadscrew end, milling slide, self-centring 4-jaw chuck, 3-jaw chuck, independent 4-jaw chuck, 12 tailstock chucks, tailstock rotating centre, a collection of Morse centres and Morse adapters, turning and boring tools, a set of screwcutting changewheels, tap and die sets, drills, reamers, several micrometers, toolmaker vices, a lever-action toggle press, cropping machine, double-ended grinder, double-ended polishing rig, number and letter stamp sets, storage drawers, a copy of the comprehensive 230-page operation, parts and data manual by and all the other small parts used by the last owner.
