Classic Backgeared and screwcutting Leinen LZ43 Precision Lathe. An early version of the LZ43, I inherited from my late father. In need of restoration but from what we can see all parts are working and moving. Mounted on the maker's cast-iron stand with a chip tray, the lathe has power sliding and surfacing feeds from a separate power shaft, a conical-scroll, precision 3-jaw chuck by Taylor, a set of collets and the collet draw tube, a set of screwcutting changewheels, two machine vices, tailstock chucks, turning and knurling tools, V-blocks and bench-type countershaft with a 1-phase motor with a Dewhurst reversing switch. Viewing and collection Saltby, LE14 4RN. Measurements can be taken, lots of photos available. Details of the various versions of the LZ lathe can be seen here.
