Sold: Dore Westbury Milling Machine
Dore Westbury Vertical Milling Machine in full working order, little-used over many years and mounted on a steel stand with chip tray. This highly versatile machine has a No.2 Morse taper head that can be moved up and down, in and out, tilted and swung on its vertical axis. Both fine and quick-action drilling feeds are provided. This is a particularly well-specified example with the epicyclic speed-reducing gearbox, a full cover over the front pulley, power-feed unit to the table and a micrometer dial on the fine down-feed control. Equipment includes a single-phase motor, an ER32 collet chuck that screws directly onto the spindle, a No. 1 Morse taper mounted 8 mm keyless precision drill chuck, a selection of T-nuts and the full set of drawings and building instructions. Although located in Aberdeenshire, transport to Derbyshire and North Yorkshire during family visits is possible. Details of Dore Westbury milling machines here
