Sold: Myford Super 7B Lathe

Myford Super 7B lathe 3.5" x 19" hap-bed, backgeared and fitted with a screwcutting gearbox and spindle clutch. Owned by a professional engineer who used it for model making. Still in its maker's original paint finish and carefully maintained. Very well specified with a Burnerd high-precision "Grip-Tru" 3-jaw chuck, the correct half-depth body 6-inch 4-jaw independent chuck, a self-centring 4-jaw chuck, a larger 3-jaw chuck, metric screwcutting banjo and changewheel set, Myford milling slide, fixed steady, travelling steady, quick-set toolpost with tool holders, 4-way toolpost, rear toolpost, thread-dial indicator, a dividing unit that uses Myford changewheels (and possibly indexing plates) with a 6-inch Burnerd independent 4-jaw chuck, and a rotary table. Also included is a complete Myford ML7 cross and top slide assembly.  The lathe was donated by the deceased owner to a railway charity on whose behalf it is being sold to raise funds.
