This is a late version of the vintage Milnes R-Type, and in working order. 4-inch centre height and taking about 20 inches between centres. It's complete with a large set of changewheels, 3-jaw chuck, 4-jaw chuck, faceplate, tailstock chuck, and fitted with a single-phase motor. Milnes was once a leading maker of high-quality machine tools.
