About us

lathes.co.uk is a family-run business consisting of three people:

• Tony Griffiths

  Machine-tool expert, compulsive collector, and Austin Seven enthusiast.
   

• Anne Griffiths

  Secretary, bookkeeper and all-round super-gran.
   

• Tom Griffiths

  Web designer.

If you need technical advice about your machine, it's Tony you're after.

If you have an enquiry about your order or delivery you will most likely end up speaking to Anne.

If you need help using the site or you have any suggestions to make then I (Tom) will be able to help you.

Your orders

Once you are logged in, click on "My account", then the "Orders" tab to see an overview of your orders. If you'd like to cancel your order just give us a call - the charge to your card or PayPal account can easily be reversed.

Your order status

Here is a summary of statuses that might be referred to in emails sent to you by our system:

• Pending / PayPal pending - The payment has been authenticated but not charged yet. We have yet to attend to your order.
• Payment received - We have taken payment for your order, which will then usually be dispatched within one working day.
• Processing - We're working on it... some jobs require a little extra time and attention. If yours is one of these we'll mark it as 'Processing' until it's ready.
• Completed - Your order has been dispatched and is on its way to you.
