Delivery and Returns

(1) Introduction

This delivery policy gives details of the delivery methods, delivery periods and delivery charges that apply to any orders for our products made through our website or by email or telephone.

This policy is not intended to and does not create legally enforceable rights and obligations; it just describes our usual practice in relation to the delivery of products.

(2) Delivery methods and charges

We deliver to most countries and territories. If your country is not available to select during checkout contact us.

If the address for delivery of your order is a UK mainland address, then delivery will usually be made by First Class Royal Mail and priced as follows:

  • Prints: £3.50 each

  • Drive belts: included

  • Books: included

If the address for delivery of your order is within Europe as defined by Royal Mail’s World zones then delivery will be made by Royal Mail airmail and priced as follows:

  • Prints: 17% of their value.

  • Drive belts: £2 per metre

If the address falls into Royal Mail’s World zones 1 or 2 then delivery will be made by airmail and priced as follows:

  • Prints: 20% of the value

  • Drive belts: £3 per metre

(3) Delivery periods

This table indicates the typical delivery periods for the different areas.

Deliveries to America and Canada may take longer due to unpredictable customs complications.

These periods are indicative only, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, we can't guarantee delivery before the end of the specified period.

(4) Delivery tracking

Royal Mail do not provide a tracking service as standard. If you require a tracking number please contact us.

(5) Delivery problems

If you experience any problems with a delivery, please contact us.

If the delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your responsibility, and you do not collect your products from the delivery service provider within the time specified on the card left at your address, then we may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products, providing that we reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery (even where the initial delivery was free-of-charge).

An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your responsibility is set out below:

  • you provided the wrong address for delivery;

  • there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;

  • the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible;

  • the address for delivery cannot safely be accessed;

  • where in person receipt is not required, there is no easy and secure means of leaving the products at the address for delivery and there is no person available to accept delivery; and

  • where in person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature.

(6) Returns

Details on our returns policy can be found in the terms of sale, but generally speaking our policy is as follows:

Prints For the reason that printed media can easily be copied we do not accept returns of printed materials. Please contact us if you are unsure of the make or model of your machine so that we can help you purchase the correct items from us.
Drive belts

We do not accept the return of drive belts made to order.

At our discretion we may accept the return of belts made for specific machines.

Where a drive belt has been produced by us to an inadequate degree of precision it may be returned for a replacement. If you require a particularly high degree of precision please let us know in the order comments or contact us by phone. Endless flat belts are made to plus or minus 2 mm.

Where an incorrect length was specified in the original order we will not accept a return.

Books We accept returns of books under the conditions laid out in our terms of sale.
Parts We accept returns of parts under the conditions laid out in our terms of sale.

Where a refund is due we will credit you the full amount including delivery via the same payment method used to make the initial payment, however you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
