This was my late father's 3.5” M-type lathe from 1946.  I’d like it to go to a good home, as he enjoyed working on it very much. The lathe has a most useful automatic disengage to the carriage drive; it's mounted on the maker's all-V-belt-drive, 12-speed cabinet stand and driven by a single-phase motor with a Dewhurst reversing switch. Included is a capstan unit to mount on the cross slide, a set of screwcutting changewheels, drive dogs, a 3-jaw chuck and all the other tools that were in use.
