For Sale: Myford Mini-Kop 1a. Spares/repair from decommissioned lathe
All the major copying parts from a stripped-down Myford Nini-Kop lathe. The first two pictures show the before and after. All the parts were recovered from a previously working machine dating to the 1970s with unified threads. The hydraulic tank pump motor fan cooling and terminal block have sustained some (repairable) damage during storage. I haven't been able to check the 3-phase motor windings for continuity readings but the windings, when viewed from an access cover, do not smell or appear to have been overheated. The copy head appears to be in good condition as does the template carry bar. The hydraulic Z traverse control, the cylinder plus bronze carriage attachment block and the travel limit bar look fine - but one support bracket needs making. The bicycle-type Bowden cable is unconnected and would need sorting (I've no idea of its function. I will be retaining the basic lathe plus collet system and parting-off slide . All the parts can be loaded onto a pallet for collection. Full details of Myford Mini-Kop lathes here
