For Sale: Myford Super 7B lathe 3.5" x 19" gap-bed, backgeared and screwcutting. Very well equipped and mounted on a strong steel cabinet stand with a deep chip tray, levelling blocks, a full-length splash back with tool tray and ample storage space.
The lathe was purchased in 2002 from Myford as a factory rebuild, has been owned by me ever since and has only been used by me for light hobby work. The extensive range of equipment includes: Newton Tesla 1-phase to 3-phase inverter that gives variable-speed drive. Myford swivelling vertical slide with machine vice, metric screwcutting conversion gear set, fixed and travelling steadies, 3-jaw chuck, 4-jaw self-centering chuck, 4-jaw independent chuck, German AXA Multifix-style quick-set toolpost with 10 plain toolholders, 5 V-slotted boring bar holders (AXA), ER25 and ER32 spindle mounting collet chucks, rear-mounted G.H.Thomas parting tool holder with blades, Hemingway carriage lock and “Tubal Cain Gibraltar” toolpost, cross slide mounted ball-turning attachment, 7" and 9" faceplates, spare chuck backplate, catchplate with drive dogs, 2 spare 2MT blank arbours, through-spindle drawbar, brass-nosed spindle extractor drift, spindle hand-winding handle, precision keyless drill chuck, 2 Myford oil guns 2 Myford spare changewheels bush/spindle/studs, Myford original spanners and spindle bearing adjustment C-spanner, hard, soft and live Morse centres, spare carriage wipers, Brammer drive belt for the spindle, and a set of 3 taps plus circular die to cut/clean 1-1/8” x 12 t.p.i. spindle nose threads.
