I bought this lathe in the early 80’s to use for prototypes in my precision turned-parts company where we ran cam-operated auto lathes. I'm the only person to have operated the Toyo and, after the company closed in 1998, I brought it home for my clock-repairing hobby. It has been used for fewer than 100 hours since new. The lathe is fitted with the optional screwcutting attachment and has a foot-operated speed control (which can be removed if not needed). Includeds is a 4-jaw independent chuck, 3-jaw chuck, a drill holder and centre, a set of screwcutting changewheels and three new spare belts.The lathe has been stored and unused for the last 10 years and it’s time to find it a new home - hopefully one where it will be appreciated. £850 or offers.
