Aciera F3 high-precision milling vertical and horizontal machine. In clean, unmolested condition and used in my centrally-heated workshop. Originally 3-phase, it has been converted to run from a 13 amp socket, the inefficient two-speed motor being replaced by a modern high-efficiency Brook Crompton 3-phase motor controlled by an infinitely variable speed 1-phase to 3-phase inverter. This arrangement has proved to be entirely satisfactory in every way. The coolant pump is retained and driven via an additional small dedicated inverter. The table is unmarked. The horizontal overarm and arbor are present, together with a full set of collets in both imperial and metric sizes and dozens of cutters in excellent condition. A comprehensive set of literature is also included, covering the various models of this machine. Access is excellent for a tail lift vehicle and the miller is on a purpose-made pallet, so collection should be straightforward. £1995 or offers.
