This is a very high quality lathe, it is very well made and significantly stouter than similar sized lathes, particularly of this era.

5.25" centre height.  21" between centres.

Minimal surface rust, but nothing out of the ordinary for the age.  Plain bearings have no appreciable play and feel very smooth.  Backgear and threadcutting and powered feed.  Paint in fantastic condition.  No obvious wear, though it is old.  I have had it in dry storage, with a view to restoring it, but then my interests went into larger machinery.  Everything is so nicely made and smooth, this would be a really nice lathe to work on and fine tune.

Comes with a full set of accessories - full set of change-gears for thread cutting, 4.5" 3-jaw chuck with inside and outside jaws, 5.5" 4-jaw chuck, 9" 4-jaw chuck, 9" faceplate, fixed steady, travelling steady.  Comes with separate frame unit with countershaft and working 1/4hp electrical motor, on a tensioning platform, would be easy to rig up to a benchtop, though note that the countershaft frame is not original.  The only thing you need is a flat belt (Tony will sell you one once you know the length for your bench), and of course some oil and cutting tools.
