He returned UK in the late 1800's, and we are fairly certain that he had the lathe shipped back home then. Hence, one family-owned from before the 1900s and everything associated with the lathe over the last 100+ years. Complete on the maker’s “Velocipede” stand with bicycle-style foot-treadle power. Also driven by the correct form of remote overhead countershaft and a single-phase motor with a Dewhurst reversing switch.
