AJAX AJT-2 and AJT-3 (AJ-2 and AJ-3) Turret Milling Machines - These were built in early and late versions. The earlier model had a vertical head with two parallel rows of push-button switches on the front face with the 2-speed motor switch immediately above and, on the top face of the head, at the front, two levers - one of a toggle type the other moving radially in a slot. The head on the later lacked the electrical push-button controls. This is a combined manual for both early and late models. This is the most complete of the three editions published and also has (for the later machines) larger and much clearer parts drawings. Two versions of the later vertical head were produced; V-belt drive and variable-speed drive and this manual covers both.
