Meddings Type F14 Pillar Drill with backgear. The F.14 is the top-of-the-range version of this high-quality drill with a solid column and the articulated, swing head - the latter, combined with the rotating table, allows a great variety of work to be undertaken.

Potter Precision plain-turning bench lathe 3.6" x 16" - probably catalogued as the "No.5". Complete with a countershaft unit, single-phase motor with push-button starter, screw-feed compound slide rest, 3-jaw chuck, a 6-inch independent 4-jaw chuck, faceplate, and a catchplate.

Carstens/Swiston Lathe and Ajax Mini Drill. The "Swiston" is a German-made machine around 4" x 20" with backgear and screwcutting. Complete with a good 6-speed belt-drive countershaft that, together with backgear, provides 12 spindle speeds.

Harrison L5A Lathe 5.5" x 24" with an induction-hardened bed with a detachable gap piece, a full screwcutting gearbox with 36 changes of threads and feeds, power cross feed and a spindle clutch. This is an ex-education machine maintained in full working order.

Syil X4 Plus CNC milling machine with Masso CNC controller and monitor. Bought new by me for light hobby use only in my heated workshop. The miller is fully functional and has proven to be very reliable - needing just one air strut for the Z axis in the years I've owned it.
