Lorch ‘Precision’ watchmakers lathe - WW pattern
This is an opportunity to purchase a bit of history, for the lathe was in the long-term ownership of George H Thomas, one of the most famous names in Model Engineering. A picture of it from one of his books is reproduced below. Overall, the lathe and accessories are in excellent condition, although as can be seen in the photographs, there is some loss of plating on the bed, the overhead pulley apparatus and a couple of the accessories. Mechanically, everything is in excellent order. This is an extremely comprehensive set-up - almost all the accessories made for this lathe are included along with a few items George Thomas made himself.
