Alligator Belt Lacing - Genuine American-made

Alligator Belt Lacing - the Genuine American-made product not the inferior copy made in China. A length of clip is hammered in at each end of the belt and joined with two sections of the special oval pin supplied - these being designed to work back-to-back. Alternatively, a length of nylon or red-fibre rod can be used. A detailed instruction sheet is supplied with each clip. "Alligator clips" are made in various sizes but five cover most belts in common use.

Boxford -South Bend- Raglan T-slotted Cross Slide Casting

A high-quality, English-made casting to make a T-slotted cross slide for Boxford and South Bend "9-inch" lathes. It is also possible to make a T-slotted slide for other 4 to 5-inch centre height lathes - in the case of the Raglan "Little John" and "5-inch" it can only be used as a boring table as it is not possible to mount the top slide on it. Machined only on the top surface these castings are long-term stored and so very stable - but they do need cleaning before machining.

BCA Miniature Jig Borer Drive belt

For the BCA we can supply a 7mm diameter length of solid round plastic belt made in Switzerland. This has a high-grip, rough green finish and is designed especially for machine -tool drives. The BCA Mk.3 normally takes a 1.7m length - but if you have a MK.1 or a Mk.2 it would be better to measure the length you need carefully. We can supply the belt joined for an extra £3.00 + VAT - which, at this diameter, we would recommend as the spindle is easily dismantled.
