Myford Super 7 lathe 3.5" x 19" gap-bed, backgeared and screwcutting and mounted on the maker's cabinet stand with chip tray and levelling blocks. In excellent condition, an ex-college machine and used by me occasionally for light model engineering. Complete with a 3-jaw chuck, the correct 6-inch half-depth body Burnerd 4-jaw chuck, tailstock chuck, faceplate, a new halogen work light and a chuck guard. 3-phase motor so ideal for conversion to infinitely-variable speed drive from a 1-phase to 3-phase inverter.

New, unused Newton-Tesla 1 h.p. (750 Watts) 3-phase, 230-volt 1400 r.p.m motor on a resilient, vibration-reducing mount and with a 5/8" shaft. Suitable for Myford 7 Series and Boxford lathes, etc. This motor was bought as part of a Newton Tesla VF drive for my Myford 254 Plus, but the lathe came fitted with a 3-phase motor and I used that instead. Merli "Clovis" Lathe 200mm swing and 1500mm between centres. An all-geared head, compact but strong lathe with a full screwcutting and feeds gearbox (with extra changewheels to extend its range), coolant, 3-jaw chuck, 4-jaw chuck, mixed steady, travelling steady, quick-set toolpost, tailstock rotating centre, tailstock chuck and turning and boring tools. The history of the lathe is known: from new in a small toolroom where it was used for light-duty jobs mainly on aluminium. LeBlond Regal "10-inch" lathe 5" centre height and 20 inches between centres. This is a fine example of the type - a compact, heavily-built lathe with an all-geared headstock, power cross feed and a full screwcutting and feeds gearbox. Single-phase motor and a Dewhurst reversing switch.

Dore Westbury "ram-head" Vertical Miller. A most versatile machine with a head that can be elevated, swung, tilted and moved in and out. Fitted with a No.2 Morse taper socket and a standard Myford thread nose that allows chucks, etc., to be fitted. Included is a complete boxed set of Myford No.2 Insert collets that fir into the spindle of the miller and are used to hold cutters (those boxed sets usually sell for over £100) The spindle has both worm-and-wheel gearing for fine feeds and a rapid-action drilling quill.

Myford Super 7B Lathe 3.5" x 19" gap-bed, backgeared, fitted with a screwcutting gearbox, spindle clutch, gravity coolant, digital readout on the cross slide and mounted on the maker's industrial cabinet stand. 1-phase electrics.

Myford 254S lathe 4.75" x 21" fitted with a full screwcutting gearbox with an enclosed leadscrew and a separate power-shaft drive to the sliding and power cross feeds, a hardened bed, extra large micrometer dials, a 26 mm spindle bore and single-phase electrics. Very well equipped with 3-jaw chuck  4-jaw chuck, fixed steady, travelling steady, an Emco milling slide, quick-set toolpost, 4-way toolpost, and all the original tooling and accessories used by the last owner as shown in the photographs.
