New, unused Newton-Tesla 1 h.p. (750 Watts) 3-phase, 230-volt 1400 r.p.m motor on a resilient, vibration-reducing mount and with a 5/8" shaft. Suitable for Myford 7 Series and Boxford lathes, etc. This motor was bought as part of a Newton Tesla VF drive for my Myford 254 Plus, but the lathe came fitted with a 3-phase motor and I used that instead. This motor has been stored in my shed for several years, so it looks a bit tired, but it is absolutely new and unused. £50 Phone: 01903 746436  or  07771 695485

Smart and Brown Mk.1 Model M backgeared, screwcutting precision toolroom lathe 4" x 18" with power cross feed and coolant - probably manufactured between 1946-47. The lathe is used frequently and is almost completely original even to the factory-fitted single-phase drive motor and switchgear (the leather drive belt if not the first fitted, is ancient). I've replaced the coolant pump with an alternative as the original was unserviceable. A note of caution: the lathe does not have any modern safety stops or cut-outs.

Elliott Omnimil 00 vertical and ram-head milling machine. A wonderfully compact but versatile miller with an excellent working envelope and the ability to tilt and swing the head. I have had this for a good number of years and it's done everything I needed but it is now too big for my needs and has been replaced by a smaller machine. The horizontal system motor and the suds pump motor were disconnected when I obtained it,  but I never noticed their absence.
