This collection consists of all the catalogues in our collection that we have by  Rockford. There were no manuals for these early machines but these catalogues (circa 1900) include various dimensions and other technical specifications.

Ward Capstan and Turret Lathes. Ward's system for Manuals included the publication of this very comprehensive but non-machine-specific 78-page "Operator's Instruction Manual, Instruction Manual and Catalogue" and to back this up with smaller publications to explain the operating peculiarities of individual models (listed below).

Colchester Mascot "Mk. 1" 1950s to early 1960s "round-headstock" model. This lathe was sold in the United States as the Clausing "Mammoth" 17-inch Models 6582, 6542,  6594, 6583, 6554 and 6543.

Craftsman 6-inch Lathe Mk.1 Models (the same as the Atlas 6-inch): "Type designations" stamped into the identification tabs on these Craftsman-branded models have included: 101.07301, 101.07300, 101.20140, 101.2048, 101.2048F, 101.2120, 101.2140 and 101.M1518 (for a special mica undercut version for electric repair-shop use) and the very early (and rather different) Type 101.07

Colchester Student, Master and Dominion Lathes Mk 1 and "Mk. 1½" (and other versions, by Clausing the 13 x 24 and 13 x 36 etc) a complete Data Pack. This manual covers: the round-headstock model but with either a "sliding-lever" on the apron that lifts into either one of two slots to engage the power feeds - or with a single, centrally-mounted round control lever.
