Sheldon "The Care and Operation of a Lathe" A detailed 105 page small-format Manual showing how to use a Sheldon lathe and intended for the Company's pre-WW2 models. It contains much useful information about the correct handling of these older machines.

Unfortunately a proper handbook was never produced for the early flat-belt drive Sheldon but we can offer a complete "data pack" that gives all the information known about this model (Pictures of this type here: http://www.lathes.co.uk/sheldon/page5.html) It consists of: - "Care & Operation of a Lathe" by Sheldon - the large and well-illustrated Sheldon Sales, Accessories and Technical Specification Catalogue of the late 1930s and early 1940s - a copy of the handbook for the later L and XL 10-inch lathes.
