Versatile Dividing Head, as described in G.H.Thomas's book "Workshop Techniques". This design is extremely flexible for light machining operations and is capable of a theoretical accuracy of seconds of arc. It can be used for simple indexing, basic dividing and compound dividing. It comes complete in a fitted wooden box with three division plates, tailstock and an adaptor with a Myford nose thread.
