Harrison140 - a late-model, all-metric specification lathe 5.5" (145mm) x 24" (610mm). Full screwcutting and feeds gearbox, power sliding and surfacing feeds, hardened gap bed, spindle clutch, mounted on the maker's stand with a full length splashback and running on a 1-phase domestic supply with a reversing switch. The lathe is in good condition and still in its ex-factory finish. Having spent its first years in a school workshop, the last 23 have been in my heated workshop, only used a few times each year and with minimum backlash in the feed screws. Extras include the correct Pratt Burnerd 3 and 4-jaw chucks, a 6-inch SC 4 jaw chuck, fixed steady, travelling steady, Dickson Quick-set toolpost, adapter for 5C collets and a selection of collets, transposing changewheels to cut inch pitches, cross-feed threading stop, two faceplates, catchplate, tailstock chuck and a chuck guard.
